Artwork Description:
Moonshine is a study in quiet illumination.
Soft. Grounded. Reflective.
Built around the stillness of the circle, the work holds light without display - a presence that settles rather than shines outward. Its restrained geometry allows tone, proportion, and negative space to carry the experience.
Designed as a companion to Sunbeam, Moonshine reflects the counterbalance of night to day - rest to clarity, reflection to motion. Displayed together, the pair creates a sense of harmony and continuity; on its own, Moonshine offers calm, depth, and a gentle anchoring presence.
A work for interiors that honours subtlety, balance, and quiet light.
ABOUT TONAL WORKS
Tonal works are developed as quiet, two-dimensional fields, composed through tone, surface, and restraint.
Rather than relying on form or physical depth, each work explores subtle variation within a single colour family. Overlapping architectural lines create gentle shifts in tone, allowing new shapes and negative space to emerge slowly across the surface.
The intention is not visual dominance, but stillness - a presence that settles into a space, offering continuity, calm, and quiet focus over time.
MATERIALS & PROCESS
Each tonal work is created slowly by hand using the same considered materials and finishes as my wall sculptures.
The surface is refined through a restrained, tactile process, allowing subtle variation and softness to remain visible rather than concealed.
Though flat in form, each work carries the quiet record of its making - human, intentional, and calm.
COLOUR & FINISH
Tonal works are available in a curated palette of neutral tones, selected to integrate quietly within a range of interior environments.
Colour and finish samples are available to experience texture and tone in person.
HOW IT LIVES IN A SPACE
Tonal works are designed to integrate seamlessly within residential and considered commercial interiors.
Their quiet surface and restrained palette support architectural lines and spatial rhythm without interruption.
Placed in areas of pause - living spaces, bedrooms, entryways, or hospitality settings - the work offers a gentle grounding presence that invites stillness.

Whether selecting an existing work or exploring a bespoke piece, support is offered throughout the process.
I work closely with interior designers and private collectors to ensure each artwork feels considered, intentional, and aligned with the space it inhabits. Placement guidance and specification support are always welcomed.

A QUIET NOTE
These works are created as places of return - holding presence, supporting reflection, and cultivating a sense of serenity within the space. Over time, they become quiet reminders of inner strength, intention, and the way we choose to move through the world.
A portion of every artwork supports cleft care through Operation Smile Australia, allowing each piece to extend its care beyond the space it inhabits.
